Monoblock Cast Resin Bushing Assembly

The dimensions, style and arrangement of the four-pole cast resin combined bushing assemblies are detailed in this section.

Design detail

  • Epoxy resin if used shall be in accordance with BS3816
  • Cast resin combined bushing assemblies shall withstand short circuits no less onerous than those of the associated transformer
  • Cast resin bushing assemblies shall not be adversely affected by continuous immersion in transformer oil complying with the requirements of BS 148 at 105°C
  • Cast resin bushing assemblies shall not be adversely affected by compounds having a pouring temperature not exceeding 160°C
  • Each cast resin bushing assembly shall be marked in a legible and reasonably permanent manner with the name or trademark of the manufacturer and a suitable type identification symbol
